Wellness philosophy

Wellness is intensely personal, and is more than attending only to one or some elements of your health and wellbeing. It’s about mindfully deploying your limited resources across all of the dimensions of wellness in each and every moment in service of your best self. There is no right answer, there is no good or bad. There is only you and your journey.

My wellness philosophy is built on two key concepts, and the first comes from my father. Growing up, whenever I became overwhelmed, his sage advice, simply uttered, would be the grounding I needed. “One pair of hands, Suze.” A reminder that I can not do it all, no matter how much I feel that I should.

The second came later in life but is just as powerful, reminding me that I’m on a journey, that I’m fallible, and that not being perfect is okay. Progress, not perfection.
